Hi! I’m Susan!

I am the owner and lead designer of Maggie May Clothing! I am a formally trained historian and visual artist. My interest in garment sewing began at a very young age. I am primarily a self taught seamstress who relies on instinct and creative problem solving skills to design, drape, and draft my garments. When I am not working in the studio, you can find me at a bluegrass concert or tending my 12 acre hobby farm.

This was the first garment I ever fully drafted myself and is made from both new and vintage materials.
