How do I place a custom order?

Custom Orders can be placed in three ways. You can place your order via our website. You can call us and place your order over the phone. Or you can email us your order. To email us your order, please include all the info found on our order form and send it to info@maggiemayfashions.com

How long does it take to receive a custom order?

Estimated completion times vary by garment. Please see each garment’s details page for completion times. Custom order garments are filled on a first come-first serve basis. Please note, we typically book 3 months in advance so calculate this into your time frame.

Can I get my order faster than what is specified?

Yes. You can. However, it has been my experience garments created in short periods of time are of significantly less quality than those with the adequate amount of completion time. Also, completion of rush order garments requires placing your order ahead of other orders already in queue. For this, there is a 30% convenience fee assessed.

Do the items only come in the colors shown on the website?

No. You can specify color and fabric for custom order items.

Can I order multiples of the same item?

Yes. You are more than welcome to order as many of one item as you like. However, please keep in mind that we are not importers or a manufacturing facility. Each piece is individually sewn per customer request and our turn around time reflects this. We are not a manufacturing facility. Instead, we are a network of seamstresses, makers, and artists who work in studio settings.

I do not see the style I am interested in. Can I get a different style?

Of course! At Maggie May Clothing, we are always interested in designing new historical garments! Just drop us an email and let’s chat!

Do you sell patterns for your garments?

No. We currently do not sell patterns for any of our designs.

Do I need to send measurements for special order items? Even for children?

It depends. Non standardized custom order garments are made to our customer’s personal measurements. Providing information like inseam length, waist measurement, hip, and chest measurement helps ensure a child’s properly fitted garment. You are welcome to order standard sized custom order garments without using the custom order form. Please refer to our measurement chart for size information.

Can I give you my credit card number over the phone?

Yes! Feel free to call us M-TH 9:00am-4:00pm EST & Friday 9:00am-12:00pm EST. 423-544-1451. For your safety, all orders are processed online via our secure/SSL payment gateway. We do not keep credit card information on file nor do we share/sell any of your information.
