Bustle era gown

This bustle era gown is our Amelia dress. This gown was completely customized by the client. The client chose the cotton dress fabric and requested�the over bustle to be made of contrasting natural linen.

In an effort to tie the contrasting linen swag to the gown fabric, I made the gown collar and cuffs in linen as well. I also added the beige trim on the bodice to connect the two pieces. My favorite accent of this gown are the painted glass buttons sewn down the center front of the gown.
