Historic Oakley House gown

We recently completed a Late Regency era gown and shift for Audubon State Historic Site in Louisiana. Working with their interpretive ranger, I came up with this gown. She requested, three quarter length fitted sleeves. No ruffles. And preferably no green trim.

This gown will be used for interpretation at the historic Oakley House (c. 1806)- once home to famous naturalist and artist John James Audubon.

I think it came out quite lovely. It is ultra feminine, light as a feather, and just perfect for a breezy Louisiana summer afternoon!
