WWII era WASP beret

This was another custom commission. I was asked to recreate a WWII era WASP beret. After much research and a great deal of color debate, here is what I came up with. The customer will add the WASP insignia to the beret.

Hi! My name is Susan and I am a historian, seamstress, teacher, mother, and wife. My passion for history has manifested itself in the art of recreating clothing from different periods of time. Growing up in the American South, I am heavily schooled in the art of recreating clothing from the 19th century. After nearly a decade of immersing myself primarily in the Victorian period, I found the need to branch out and explore other periods of time.   1. I am in desperate need of a WWII WASP Beret for display in our gift shop.
    We are The Commemorative Air Force Aircraft museum, we are a 501c3 non profit organization.
    Although we have a full uniform on exhibit, I would like a recreated beret to be used as decoration.
    Please let me know if you can recreate one for me as shown in your web site.
