1840s Inspired Ellie Dress for Garden Fair

This 1840s inspired Ellie Dress was custom made for Historic Exchange Place’s upcoming Garden Fair in April. This sweet little 1840s era ensemble consists of our Ellie dress, contrasting pinafore, corded petticoat, and trimmed straw bonnet.

Our modified Ellie Dress features long, extra full sleeves popular during the 1840s.

A custom designed pink calico cotton pinafore compliments the blue sprigged cotton dress. It closes in the back with a button at the neckline and ties at the waist.

This Ellie Dress with custom pinafore is shown over a custom designed girl’s size corded petticoat!

A neatly trimmed straw bonnet with silk ribbons and bows finishes the ensemble!
