This Romantic era Ready Made Dress is baed on an original French gown dating to the late 1830s. This dress features Demi- gigot sleeves, a tightly fitted under bodice, and a moderately fully skirt. The skirt is pleated into a fitted waistband that attaches to the bodice. Decorative piping used throughout. This 1820s era dress embodies the silhouette of the Early Romantic Period and would be a lovely museum display gown. The contrasting belt is included. Shown over an extra full petticoat (not included but recommended).
Details: 100% cotton; fully lined bodice; hook and eye closures and snaps at center back.
