The Harvest Bustle Dress (design your own)

This late 1880s era gown is based on an original American gown (provenance- Ohio) in my personal collection. This style of gown is indicative of a better dress– possibly worn by a farmer’s wife in the late 19th century.

Like the original gown, our Harvest Bustle dress features a separate bodice and skirt. The bodice is fully lined and features hook and eye closures at center front. The front buttons are decorative.

The Separate skirt has a high waistband and uses either a button or hook and eye closure at the side. The full, bustles skirt is hemmed to the ankle and features our signature contrasting hem protector.

This gown if fully machine sewn with some hand stitched details. This gown is best worn over an over bust corset. Shown over a ruffled petticoat and skirt supporter (sold separately).

Vintage collar and cameo not included.

Pricing DOES NOT INCLUDE FABRIC. Please ship 9 YARDS of 44/45″ wide natural fiber fabric to our studio to complete your order.  You may choose your own fabric or purchase yardage from our FABRIC COLLECTION.
