Our Victorian OverBust corset is the result of years of trial and error. Corsets are a very personal garment and are meant to be worn close to the body. The wearing of a poorly made or ill fitting corset has led to the myth that corsets are uncomfortable and confining contraptions. On the contrary, a well made, well-fit corset made to one’s measurements actually provides the upper body and bust ample support without being inhibiting. The cotton corset body breathes and wicks moisture away from the body keeping one cool even in the hottest summer months. Our synthetic whalebone used throughout curves and molds to your form without compromising support.
This corset is ideal for those seeking a clean historical silhouette and a foundation garment that supports the drape of period garments.
