Corset- Late Edwardian

Our Late Edwardian Era corset is made from 100% cotton outer and 100% cotton lining. Double stitched seams. Mid bust gusset gives ample support while providing lift.  A high quality coated steel busk secures the corset front. High quality synthetic whalebone used throughout. Antique finish grommets down the center back allow for 2-3 inches flexibility in sizing. An extremely comfortable and long wearing corset for those who seek an elongated silhouette.

Our Late Edwardian Era corset is ideal for those seeking the long, sleek lines of the Late Edwardian and WWI Era. Corsets are a very personal garment and are meant to be worn close to the body. The wearing of a poorly made or ill fitting corset has led to the myth that corsets are uncomfortable and confining contraptions. On the contrary, a well made, well-fit corset made to one’s measurements actually provides the upper body and bust ample support without being inhibiting. The cotton corset body breathes and wicks moisture away from the body keeping one cool even in the hottest summer months. Our synthetic whalebone used throughout curves and molds to your form without compromising support.

This corset is ideal for those seeking a clean historical silhouette and a foundation garment that supports the drape of period garments.
