Description
Our Suffragette March Jacket is based on original garments worn by women during the peaceful Suffragette marches that took place from 1914-1918. Our Suffragette March jacket is inspired by period photographs and period fashion plates.
Suffragettes traditionally wore white as a sign of solidarity and visual representation of femininity, virtue, and motherhood. As the movement progressed, white garments cut in fashionable style became the universal dress code and allowed women of all races and socio-economic statuses to join the cause.
Sold by Bust and Waist size. A perfect addition to your historical 1914-1919 Suffragette ensemble or can be worn as modern day wear!
