Description
The size and shape of this narrow braid sewn straw bonnet is inspired by period poke bonnet shapes dating to the Regency/Empire Period through the early 1830s. This bonnet can also be worn atop the head rather than at the back of the head to create a shape popular during the 1880s-1890s (scroll through to see the period fashion plate referencing this Late Victorian style).
