Our curated collection of historical print fabrics are made from first quality fiber and are selected specifically for use in replicating historical and historically inspired clothing and accessories. Many of the prints in our collection are documented reproductions from museum collections across the United States and Europe. Examples of our reproduction prints originate from Old Sturbridge Village, The National Quilt Museum, Colonial Williamsburg, Genesee Country Village, The V&A, Devonshire Collection, Jane Austen’s House Museum, and more.

In 2020, Maggie May Clothing approached Saundra Ros Altman (owner of Past Patterns) about partnering with Past Patterns to offer pattern kits. We were delighted when she agreed! In April 2022, Ms. Altman sold her company. With the sewing pattern market changing at a rapid pace and a multitude of new independent historical sewing patterns available today, Maggie May Clothing has chosen to discontinue Past Pattern pattern kits as of June 2022. Maggie May Clothing’s fabric collection continues to be available to all who wish to make their own historical and historically inspired clothing! Thank you Ms. Altman for allowing Maggie May Clothing to partner with Past Pattern Company for two fantastic years!

After years of searching and searching, Maggie May Clothing has found a local supplier of historical reproduction and historically inspired print fabrics! This was an exciting moment for us as we no longer had to rely on distant transport- thus supporting our commitment to local business and reducing our carbon footprint. Our historical print fabric collection is intended for use with our special order historical clothing collection but is also available to D.I.Y.-ers and historical seamstresses. Our historical fabric collection changes quite regularly so if you do not see what you are looking for, be sure to check back often! We add new prints regularly. Most prints are limited and not re-orderable so once they are gone- they are gone!

Are you a Designer or Professional Maker? Orders over 30 yards qualify for wholesale pricing. Swatches (2″x2″) available on special request at $2.50 per swatch including shipping. No swatches for LOT fabrics. Contact us to enquire.

Beginning March 12, 2023: Orders with combined in stock and backordered items will ship together once backordered items are restocked. Requests for separate shipments may be made at checkout. However, please note additional shipping fees may be assessed.

Effective September 1, 2022: In effort to keep shipping costs down, we currently ship all orders on Tuesdays (and Thursdays during our busy season). Orders placed at the end of the week may be rolled over to the following week’s shipment. Thanks for your understanding!

UK BUYERS: MMC will not collect VAT or customs fees on your behalf for purchases made from our website. Please note we support not for profit entities. Please check with your local officials for more customs regulations.

EU BUYERS: For packages with a value more than €150, VAT and customs will be collected on import from the buyer by the postal carrier.
