Now Accepting Orders for November 2023!
Maggie May Clothing has always been an exclusive historical clothing atelier for women and children. Here at Maggie May Clothing, we understand high quality, well made, historical children’s clothing is just as important as fine quality women’s clothing. We also understand that children tend to grow like weeds and are lucky to get a single season’s wear out of garments. Therefore, we have worked diligently to streamline the construction process of our historical children’s clothing collection to keep costs in line without compromising the high quality materials and construction techniques we are so well known for.
Like our women’s historical dress collection, our historical children’s collection features both special order garments and ready made garments. Special Order garments are “made to order” or “bespoke” using fabrics selected from our fabric collection. Special order historical children’s clothing is only available in standard sizing (see our sizing chart). Special order garments typically take 2-6 weeks to create depending on our current commission schedule. Always check with us before ordering to be sure we are not heavily booked. For clients working on a quick deadline or need garments immediately, our ready made collection consists of ready to ship garments. These garments are NOT part of our special order catalog and CANNOT be made to order. Ready made garments are made to stock size unless otherwise noted. These are one time garments added to our collection to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
Beginning March 12, 2023: Orders with combined in stock and backordered items will ship together once backordered items are restocked. Requests for separate shipments may be made at checkout. However, please note additional shipping fees may be assessed.
Effective September 1, 2022: In effort to keep shipping costs down, we currently ship all orders on Tuesdays (and Thursdays during our busy season). Orders placed at the end of the week may be rolled over to the following week’s shipment. Thanks for your understanding!
